A Call to Courage

Like Esther

In ancient Persia, Queen Esther stood in the palace not for comfort, but for calling. She was chosen “for such a time as this”—to risk everything for the sake of her people. She listened to Mordecai, discerned the moment, and stepped into destiny with trembling courage and unwavering faith.

Today, in a world of digital noise and moral compromise, another Esther rises—her name is Bettyejay "On The Front Line".

She does not seek power for prestige. Like Esther, she understands that leadership is not about control—it is about covenant. She stands at the gates of our community, not as a politician, but as a prophetic voice. She discerns the plots that threaten unity, exposes injustice with wisdom, and refuses to bow to fear or favoritism.

She is not alone. Just as Mordecai guided Esther, voices of truth surround me—watchmen who see, intercessors who pray, and citizens who believe in righteous leadership. And like Esther, she does not shrink back. She speaks when silence is easier. She acts when delay is tempting. She leads when others follow.

In this 21st-century moment, He ask:

  • Who will stand in the gap for our town?

  • Who will restore what compromise has eroded?

  • Who will rise—not for applause, but for assignment?

Bettye answers that call.

She is our Esther. She is our bridge. She is our reminder that courage is not loud—it is obedient. That destiny is not inherited—it is chosen. And that revival does not begin in the sanctuary—it begins in the council chamber.

This is not just an election. It is a reckoning. And Bettye stands ready—for such a time as this.

A remnant will stand for righteousness when compromise becomes common.

A remnant is a small, faithful group that refuses to bow, bend, or break under pressure.

In a small town, in a church, in a community, in a county, in a state, and in a nation when leadership grows corrupt or complacent, it is the remnant of 21 individuals who:

  • Speak up when others stay silent.

  • Pray when others plot.

  • Build when others tear down.

  • Stand in the gap when others walk away.

YOU are the Nehemiah's rebuilding broken walls

YOU are the Esther's risking everything,

YOU are the Elijah's confronting false altars, and

YOU are the Deborah's judging with wisdom

Word for Today:

Evil plans will always be reversed when righteous people stand in the gap. What the enemy meant for harm, God will always turn it around for His good.
